How it works
You rent the trailer for a set term and make a payment each month. Every payment builds equity in the trailer, much like paying down a home. When the term ends, you can buy the trailer, and part of what you already paid counts toward the remaining balance. That makes rent to own a way to end up owning a trailer without taking out a traditional loan.
Why buyers choose rent to own
- No credit check. You do not need approval from a bank, credit union or other lender first.
- Manageable monthly payments. You pay over time, the same way you would with financing.
- Your payments build ownership. Each month moves you closer to owning the trailer.
- You choose at the end. Keep the trailer, or move to a different one. In general you are not required to buy the trailer you rented, and you can start a new rent to own agreement on another unit.
